Yes our catfish is something to boast about.  It is smoked over an open flame in our birck pit.  So it gets that authentic hickory flavor that leaves you craving even more.  That is how it got the name Craving Catfish.  Go ahead take a peek, then stop on in and try it for yourself. Yummy!

What an amazing event we had at The Pit.  Our 1st ever Battle of The Bones Contest was a hit.  We had a total of 8 fierce contestants.  Seven hungry men and one junior rib eater. The contestants were challenged to eat 4# of mouth watering slow smoked Summit Hickory Pit BBQ ribs all the way to the bone.  The 1st place contestant was Phil Medland.  2nd place was Jason Kerr.  3rd place was Brian Wilson.  Summit Hickory Pit BBQ is please to say that a portion of our funds raised from this event will benefit the Lee's Summit Rotary Club.
